Leather care - to keep your leather boots or ankle boots looking their best, polish them regularly. Not only will this keep them looking new but it will also protect them against water and scuffing.
For boots to look their best they need to fit you beautifully. That's why we offer a choice of calf sizes so you can find your personal fit.
- Sit down and place your feet flat on the floor.
- Wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your calf.
- Measure both calves to the nearest 1cm (use the wider measurement when placing your order).

For ankle boots to look and feel sensational they need to fit you perfectly. We offer different width fittings - to help find a perfect fit that feels amazing to wear.
FIND YOUR FOOT WIDTH:
- Place a fabric tape measure on the floor cm side down.
- Place your foot on the tape measure and stand firmly on top of it.
- Measure around the circumference of your foot at its widest point – usually from the bone just below your big toe, to the bone below your little toe (the tape measure should be at slight angle)
- Make a note of your measurement. It’s quite common to find a slight variation in size between each foot, so it’s best to measure both feet and use the wider measurement.
- On the Ankle Boots page select your foot size and then choose your corresponding width fitting.

Awesome!
I. LOVE. DUO. I have been ordering tall boots from Duo for probably over a decade now. They are a quality product and the service cannot be beaten, as evidenced by my latest order where I accidentally ordered my calf size too big. The boots were incredibly easy to return, and the new pairs got here expeditiously as well, all through DHL. Highly recommend.
What a shame!
Extremely disappointed with this boot (can not return due to already wanting to test wear them out). I own the brown colour version as well which is a million times better (extremely good quality leather and structure). This black version is a very cheap thin black leather, to the point it just flops down when left standing on its own - the brown does not do this) and I dislike the grey reptile pattern on the back of the boot however this is not apparent on the photos. This can look untidy/scruffy when a bit of mud gets stuck between the texture. Quite annoyed because I would assume that at least two colour versions of this boot should at least come from the same leather! This one just looks cheap and certainly should not be priced so expensive. I was hoping for a black almost shiny thick leather like the brown ones but in black, these boots however have no slight sheen to them like it appears on their photos.
Excellent Boots
When I first got my boots, this being my third pair I went through a range of emotions: nervous, excited then scared. This is a pricey boot, they're well made and worth their price, but pricey nonetheless. I first put them on and my heart sank. They did not fit around my calf. I was gutted, and I sent an email looking for clarification. I was assured that after a while the leather would stretch and all would be well. So I wore them around and eventually the leather did stretch. I could wear it with my tights, jeans even tuck in my work pants should it be required (tapered legs nothing too bulky). They are beautiful boots. They wear well and look classic with just about anything. My only issue was that the bottom was far too slippery but a simple trip to the cobbler fixed that. Side note - as this is my 3rd pair, I've had this issue with all the boots and the cobblers have been able to fix that. They've made mention at how well crafted the boots are, so to me that's an indication on the quality. If you aren't sure, I do suggest talking with the CS group. I ordered my size based on their recommendations and other than the first issue with it not fitting (but them correctly assuring me that the leather would stretch) they are a perfect fit for me. Love these boots and wear them just about everyday on my commute and at work.
