Why do I need to re-confirm my subscription to DuoBoots?
Over the next few months, you will be asked to re-confirm your subscription to DuoBoots, and lots of other retailers. This is because the law around data privacy is changing in May 2018. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), sets out to protect consumers’ data privacy.
What does this mean for you?
Once GDPR comes into effect, many retailers will need your explicit consent to store personal data, including your name and email address. For our mailing lists to comply, we may need you to re-confirm your subscription.
How do I re-confirm my subscription?
You will see a banner on our emails over the next few weeks asking you to re-confirm your subscription. All you need to do is click this banner. Once done, we’ll stop asking you.
